Panel Discussion - Beyond the Basics

The panel was discussing Beyond the Basics - Equipping learners for the future.

The panel planned to discuss curriculum mandates, building teacher capacity and the need to shift beyond the binary of knowledge vs competency based curriculum.

Cathy Wylie - Cathy is a recently retired Emeritus Chief Researcher at NZCER.

Jenny Ritchie - Associate Professor School of Education at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington

Claire Amos - Principal at Albany Senior High School.
