I remember well John Lethbridge was very close to the action in Auckland & Aussie == when I first came to Unimof Auckland in 1969 to support upgrade of art teaching == & made the political 'mistake' of supporting the modernist artists and teachers -- instead of the Ruling Class 'Heritage Arts"
